I can understand and identify accents from lots of different regions of the US, it wouldn't kill the US media to return the favour faithfully once in a while, research actual phrases we use instead of some of the nonsense they have her coming out with. The accent in the? movie wasn't toned down btw, it was actually completely hammed up, the girl sounds like she's from fictitious Brigadoon.
