Becky Clark took 1st place on Diane in the North West with Cheryl Brost following just 4 seconds behind. Almost a minute later was Melissa Dixon in 3rd.
Samantha Peterson, 2011 Games competitor, finished 1st in the North West for Event 2. Following 21 seconds behind her was Samantha Snyder. Tied for 3rd was Cheryl Brost and Allison King at 13:36.
CrossFit Fort Vancouver did it again, finishing in 1st place for Event 2 in the North West. Jet City and CrossFit Intensify rounded out the top three for this event.
Kevin Simons's impressive 1:58 Diane and 5th place finish on Event 2, put him in first place going on to Day 2. Apollo Lewis also feels confident after his first day of competition at the North West Regional.
Shoreline CrossFit came back from a 16h place finish in Event 1 to take 1st place in Event 2. CrossFit New England finished 2nd with Champlain Valley CrossFit in 3rd.
New to the North East Region, Spencer Hendel dominated 1st place, finishing 11 seconds before 2nd place Daniel Tyminski. Eric Magee finished in 3rd place, 6 seconds behind Tyminski.

2010 Affiliate Cup champs CrossFit Fort Vancouver may have another run for the gold. They finished 1st with CrossFit Intensify and Cascade CrossFit following.
The results of Event 2 were vastly different than Event 1 for the men in Europe. Lacee Kovacs finished in 1st with Frederik Aegidius and Timmy Thernstrom rounding out the top three.

Annie Thorisdottir is at it again -- she finished Event 2 with a new world record time. Katrin Tanja Davidsdottir finished in 2nd place with Ellinor Rehnstrom behind in 3rd.
CrossFit Reykjavik finished the day with just 2 points after another 1st place finish in Event 2. Team Butcher's Lab finished 2nd with CrossFit Sport in 3rd.
Sara Hill Mass finished 52nd in the Open in 2011 only to come back strong this year in 12th place. Mass is also coached by Open Masters champ Jerry Hill -- her brother.
New names are at the top of the Europe Leaderboard on the men's side after Event 1. Dadi Hrafn Sveinbjarnarson leads the pack with Jindrich Tovarys and James Goulden following in the top three.
