Eddie Romero's "Blood Island" films weren't highly thought? of in their day (by the few critics who paid attention to such drive-in fare) but they seem pretty choice now. Lurid, fast-paced, and full of striking images, with lots of beautiful girls and gorgeous scenery to set off the ghastly horrors. Highly recommended! Interested parties should also check out BEAST OF THE YELLOW NIGHT and the earlier TERROR IS A MAN.
