It just fills the hand better too and thanks to the steel frame insert couple with polymer it's got a lot of flex? to it. Also the .357 and .38 Special are identical in size so you're not going to gain a smoother shooter. That said, the Taurus 85 is a fantastic snubby option and much less expensive than the LCR. LCR Tamer grip "grabs" at your pantleg when worn on the ankle and will sometimes give a distinct weapon profile. 442 grip is nice and thin yet still fits your hand nicely with the finger grooves. .357 is too much to fire out of a 1 7/8 in barrel, IMO. The S&W cylinder release slides forward, while the LCR? pushes in. This can "pop" the cylinder loose if worn in the pocket and prevent a proper seal of the round in the chamber.
