Not 100 percent comprehensive, but should get some ideas flowing. A good .22 LR rifle is probably the most important firearms purchase you can make for your child or even for yourself.

Cerakote is one of the most durable firearms finishes I've tested. Cerakote is based on ceramics and has incredible resistance to chemicals, heat and abrasion. No? problem dude.
By: apachedrifter. on 24 May 12, 21:11:46
oh....my mistake. i remember you talking about how cumbersome the pistol grip shotgun is and then you spoke of the stock and went back to? the pistol grip again. i must have lost something in there, but ok.....thank you for clearing me up on that.

By: apachedrifter. on 24 May 12, 01:24:17
you have *no* idea how happy i am to have found this. there's lots i've learned here. some i've heard that you have disproved and more i never heard that i know the truth about now so thank you for taking the time to do this. i do have to say, in my personal? experience at least, that i found the pistol grip shotgun is more comfortable to use. the difference in wrist angle was enough to make the pistol grip feel more natural for me.

Venting a little? I all are valid points. Mags being loaded, doesn't hurt them especially when you know people firing mags (and ammo) last loaded in vietnam. I used to not like Glocks for the lack of "actual" safety. Then I realized I don't even put my finger on the trigger until I'm ready to fire (my biggest pet peeve when it comes to firearms safety) cause unless you mishandle it, it's very difficult for? the weapon to go off without a finger on the trigger...

By: fawakamaha. on 23 May 12, 16:12:53
On the subject of the low left. My experience has been that anticipating recoil is the main reason (at least for? me) for low groups. trying to time a forward push on the pistol with when it fires. took me a lot of practice to get over this habit.

Hot damn. This is an awesome vid. Smart, concise and no? nonsense. Love it! I have no idea wether or not you're right, but you just made a 26 minute video confirming my beliefs, so I'm good with it. Either way, the things you discussed are highly based on common sense, which is a very refreshing take on things. Getting a bit tired of all the "tacticool" kids :).

LOL! You are so funny! "Why did I bring all this ammo!?!" I agree with everything you said... with the things I know? to be true anyway. The other items I'll take your word for it since you are the expert. LOL! "Tex!" I also like your replies to the other "experts" in the comments. ;)

Hi, James. What is your opinion on? .22 LR's, or .22 weapons in general? Do you think they are good training tools? I don't even own a gun... all I have are my airsoft guns, which aren't bad for target practice. However, recently I've been considering a .22 . Do you think it's a waste of money? Thanks for the reply in advance. I'm glad I found your videos!
