To continue, I am simply saying why can't those of us who have chosen crossfit as our workout routine be treated with as much respect as other workout routines. Crossfit isn't for everybody, and I would encourage everyone to find what they feel fits them. I apologize for the claim "Fittest on Earth", i don't think they meant to piss off everyone who choses other workout methods, just? like people who play in the CFL don't get too hurt when we crown the top NFL team as World Champ.

if you use that argument, I also expect you to call into question the NFL and MLB when they claim the winner of the Superbowl or World Series as? "World Champion". I'm not trying to discredit either league, but I'll agree that the title of "Fittest on Earth" is a stretch because with no doubt there are many other paths to better fitness other that crossfit, but you can't use that argument without calling other sports titles into question.
By: BeepimajeepBeep. on 25 May 12, 21:51:20
So why does? crossfit insult real athletes by claiming they are the fittest on earth, when in fact they are not even close, while try to define being fit by only using their definition?

Sup, have you wondered about this plan called the Fat Blast Furnace? (check google). My father in law says it helps people lose weight easily.?

You know what else is hilarious? CROSSFIT "ATHLETES." I wouldn't especially expect to get through to anybody? involved in crossfit when it comes to the topics of physical talent, worth, or training level. You guys are an idiot cult that won't listen to anybody else outside of other crossfiters. Now that my friend, is what is truly hilarious.

Before trying to say things like this think to yourself, what is fitness? And nobody can be all of the above things! Each of the above? things are it's own sport. We could easily use your own argument against you. They can't do crossfit like a crossfitter! It's become it's own sport now, whether you like it or not (which your entitled to do either, after all everyone gets an opinion) it is a very balanced athletic program that does get results! Nobody can argue that it doesnt and be correct.

It's truly hilarious how you sit here and spew forth your large words and judgemental points of view probably thinking that you're actually getting through to people with your negativity! LOL PowerStrengthHate? you DEFINITELY? sound like somebody i'd want to listen to regularly XD! Oh yes, and just to mention, shout out to crossfit NEW ENGLAND, the crossfit affiliate champions! Now go and watch your powerlifting and quit trying to dampen everyone else with your assanine remarks and ridiculous POV

Which is why military personnel, mma fighters who have to exhibit these "mediocre" qualities do it. Stop hating and please help.? If you are a powerlifter, help coach crossfit to do it right.
By: MrBrochunky. on 22 May 12, 19:19:51
Show me any one? of the aforementioned athletes who can, without extra training beforehand, place in the top ten at this event.? Not likely, I say. They aren't mediocre at anything, they're good at everything. Just because they're not the best in a sport that they're not even competing in does not make them bad at what they do.

Crossfit is conditioning. Athletes do? this every off season to go into the sport for the season. The haters clearly havent done a crossfit class yet so shut your dirty mouths. If it is that easy then why do you haters just win it all? If your arguement is saying that they are not better than athletes who train all their skill into one event then DDDUUUUHHHHH!!!!!!! Put Usain Bolt in the NBA, NFL, MLB, or NHL.... lets see how "good" does!!!

You got it right, I am a? simple Average Joe, - I prefer being true to myself and overmodest rather than being Mediocre CF faggot with the oversize ego.
By: PowerStrengthHate. on 22 May 12, 04:16:05
Crossfit is televised, because the? general public is actually capable of performing crossfit. Crossfit requires 0 physical talent. The public can identify with crossfit. Now powerlifting? The vast majority of the public will never be able to understand, nor be physically able to powerlift. Don't take that as a compliment to crossfit, if the public can do it, its an insult. Look at your american population. You're the ethnic laughing stock of the world.
By: 06livefast. on 22 May 12, 04:00:36

Man, a lot of haters hatin' down below... The cool thing about Crossfit is that it does appeal to the "average Joe." The average Joe (or? Jane) can get seriously inspired by this, because most of the ppl in these vids aren't "pro" athletes. I give props to these crossfitters. Plus, everyone knows every sport/activity emphasizes a unique athletic skill set. Stop comparing apples to oranges people! Just enjoy the unique taste of each :)
