The cap on the end of the hose can only? fit one valve, and that valve is for the low-pressure side line of your ac. Check to see if you have the right amount of refrigerant (freon / r134a). Do this by starting your engine, then turn on your ac full blast. then hook up a $10 ac gauge to the low-side ac valve and look and see what it says on the gauge. If u need more add it. Your skin will stick to the can if you don't. Set the in-car fan to high , and use the recirculate feature , if so equipped. Switch the in-car control to bi-level to test temperature , between cans - then repeat on recirculate. This will give you the coldest air conditioning possible.
