After always claiming that the Apollo could not have been done in a studio is because the studio is limited in size and the light sources would be too close. I do not have a big hangar to experiment with, so I used a ray tracer program to simulate the studio.
You can also simulate it with small models and a tiny light source.
This clips shows you the problems of a studio.

Hehe. I totally ... By: GoneToPlaid. on 27 Dec 10, 01:02:36 Hehe. I totally agree. If I was going to fake Apollo 11 then the landing date would have been a few days later when the sun would be at? a much higher elevation. Then you could get away with suspending a huge stage light above the set via a crane. Yet the real Apollo 11 landing date, with the sun only 11 degrees above the horizon, is just about the worst possible lighting scenario to even begin to try to fake.
If I? ever would ... By: obaeyens. on 26 Dec 10, 17:47:39 If I? ever would make a fake moon-landing, the I surely would never use any reflective surfaces and would simulate a overhead sun so I do not have any shadows.
I would love to see ... By: obaeyens. on 26 Dec 10, 17:45:24 I would love to see a Apollo? denier set up a studio and make it convincing. LOL
Therein lies the ... By: GoneToPlaid. on 26 Dec 10, 15:08:54 Therein lies the problem with any sort of illumination system for a fake moon landing set. A single light source would have to be located at a distance 57 times the size of the fake moon set in order to keep all shadows parallel to one another? to within 1 degree. Let's assume that a fake Apollo 11 set was 200 feet in diameter. The single light source would have to be positioned 11,400 feet away and 2,200 feet above the set.
To keep the shadows ... By: GoneToPlaid. on 26 Dec 10, 15:02:57 To keep the shadows and? to prevent multiple shadows, the each light (as mentioned) would have to be installed inside a very deep parabolic reflector. Aligning the lights relative to one another would be a nightmare since each light must be parallel to one another to well under 1 degree of accuracy. I was merely suggesting a possible method, but the method would be very difficult to execute.
My bank of lights ... By: GoneToPlaid. on 26 Dec 10, 14:59:39 My bank of lights example is fraught with difficulties. Light baffles would have to be placed fairly close to the fake set in order? to prevent illumination of dark stage walls. Even then, light scatter off of the illuminated set would light up the stage walls. It would be impossible to project the background mountains with enough brightness and contrast to match a stage illuminated with enough intensity to simulate sunlight.
What surprised me ... By: obaeyens. on 26 Dec 10, 14:50:32 What surprised me was the fatness of the Lunar module shadow when done in a studio. I did not expect this. But it is logical, the light source is so close that it? emits in a 45 degree angle light and is not parallel at all.
"banks of lights ... By: obaeyens. on 26 Dec 10, 14:47:41 "banks of lights placed at least? one and a half football fields away from the scene around a LM. "
I agree, the studio would have to be very long.
And also the lights would show up on the walls. Even when you use a very dark material as walls.
But then again? they did not use dark materials as background since some nutty professor told that they projected the mountains.
It depends on ? the ... By: obaeyens. on 26 Dec 10, 14:41:31 It depends on ? the size of the studio. I have no idea what size of studio they would have used. I would love to have dimensions. But if you look at the rover the studio is long and vacuum.
The banks of light gives big problems, you lose the shadow, you created even multiple shadows and the shadow is not that sharp any-more. And the biggest problem is reflections! The lunar module is basically a mirror. Multiple light sources would show up in the reflections.

By: GoneToPlaid. on 26 Dec 10, 04:54:39 The only way to reasonably overcome light falloff across the relatively flat terrain, without casting even hints of additional shadows due to multiple light sources, would be to use banks of lights placed at least one and a half football fields away from the scene around? a LM. That is the funny ... By: obaeyens. on 11 Nov 09, 04:16:40 That is the funny part everyone knows exactly what will happen, but no one could tell me the real orbit elements. So I started to revese engineer a pretty scientific orbit that could bring a planet close enough to actually do some damage. This is the only orbit I found that could sneak onto us without having too much influences on the other planets but big effect on Earth. The conclusion is that although you can explain it? logically in words, once you actually test it it all fail to be true.
I thought Nibiru ... By: shoelessstudios. on 11 Nov 09, 03:43:33 I thought Nibiru was in a clockwise? rotation...
Yeah right,? he ... By: obaeyens. on 24 Aug 09, 21:03:25 Yeah right,? he mistyped some words, so he must be wrong.
That is what I call solid proof for the truth of 2012.
Sadly enough reality does not care about spelling or emotions of how it should be.
Fact is astronomically there is nothing out there at this moment for this date and never have been here before. It could be, but not before 2032. Or it could also be something none-astronomical. In that case I have no opinion.
Judging by the fact ... By: Solomonvids. on 24 Aug 09, 20:50:29 Judging by the fact that you've misspelled several grade school level words, I am going to disregard this video. Use spell check at least before posting? so you at least SEEM like someone who can read.
Just a thought!
If you CAN actually read, look into EVERY ancient culture and they all have stories of this planet's passing.
I guess all of mankind, for all of known history, must be wrong. Thanks for showing us lowly monkeys the light, oh mighty ascended Master.
Just be open minded ... By: obaeyens. on 22 Jun 09, 17:06:11 Just be open minded for once, and move away from these doomes days sites and actually try to understand the sience yourself. It is really a no-brainer to see that the 2012 is all fake.
You are beeing duped by con artists people that are trying to brainwash you. Test the clames on the sites, you soon discover that ALL clames are false when you cross reference with? science formule's and a simple calculator.
Maybe an INSIDE ... By: obaeyens. on 22 Jun 09, 16:59:17 Maybe an INSIDE force?
Maybe the LHC is a coverup because 10 years ago the US built a pre-LHC and that one created a blak hole the fell to the center of the Earth and is now eating away the magnetic fields!
But my best guess is that the Earth is? hollow and the little people discovered the atomic bomb and are now experimenting with it that would also explain the earth quakes. ROFL
Oh Yes, Indeed, ... By: faukishah. on 22 Jun 09, 14:40:47 Oh Yes, Indeed, What else is the factor do you suggest that can cause polar shifts except some outside force ?
None of us has seen Nibiru, whatever name you call it, there is some exposure to some? foreign force that triggered the polar shifts.
As for the Godzillas ... no wonder you ll see one sooner that you expect.
To have some sence ... By: obaeyens. on 15 May 09, 20:11:37 To have some sence of scale, a planet Nibiru that will cross Earths orbit and has a period of 3500 years will cross Earth at a speed close to 120.000 km/hour! (this can be easily calculated it is the escape velocity? from the Sun at Earths distance to create a very eleptical orbit)
Try to stop or deflect a planet with the mass of Earth at a speed of 120.000 km/hour (34 km/s) with a big spark! And expect it to survive in one piece!
And to make matters ... By: obaeyens. on 15 May 09, 19:35:42 And to make matters worse, doesn't is strike you very odd that a very chaotic? solar system 3500 years ago suddenly became none chaotic because a planet passed?
Yes a solar system can become less chaotic provided to give it long enough time, the gravity forces of planets will balance it out, but 3500 years is waaaaaay too short, it needs billions of years not thousands!
And to make your ... By: obaeyens. on 15 May 09, 19:31:10 And to make your theory even wrong, have you any idea about the inertia of a? big planet touching each others atmosphere? Such a planet would just crash into the other planet, even when you get a very powerfull electromagnetic repelling force, it would rip the planets to pieces because of the differential of force across the planet's diameter.
Yes it all sounds plausible on paper, but if you have some basic understanding of science and take out a calculator then you immediately see the flaws
faukishah, I am an ... By: obaeyens. on 15 May 09, 19:23:08 faukishah, I am an electronics engineer, don't come with these electromagnet forces Bullshit theories.
There is no way that electromagnetic short scale forces would exceed the long distance force like gravity.
Yes you can float a big thing like a train... a few milimeters, but a big planet across a few thousands of km? No way!
Also a? lightning spark would mean an attracting force the planets are different in charges, the lighning would even the charge out, stopping the attraction.
Ahhh yes, so polar ... By: obaeyens. on 15 May 09, 19:06:59 Ahhh yes, so polar shifts occurred so that must be proof of Nibiru?
What about that polar shifts occurred and that proves that Godzilla must exist deep inside the Earth where the dragon with the? atomic breath reversed the polarity of the lava core samples?
I see totally ... By: faukishah. on 15 May 09, 13:19:57 I see totally wrecked and chaotic solar system just about 3500 years back .. very recent history...? and we have samples of lavas not old than that with opposite polarity to our poles than present one.
sparks and ... By: faukishah. on 15 May 09, 13:17:58 sparks and equalizing of charge in both the bodies ultimately generating almost instant repelling electromagnetic forces that pushes away the planets? and they start to settle down in an orbit. Moon was captured by the Earth at any later stage and is just no reason to assert that our solar system was stable and settled as it is now from all times...
Do you have no ... By: faukishah. on 15 May 09, 13:09:43 Do you have no evidence of polar shifts in the lava samples ?
Have you never seen ancient buildings lying on the ground upside down ?
settled orbits are not a good example to calculate the orbits in chaos because you do not account for any other force into it except gravity. As per us no Planets with almost equal mass can collide with each other because of repelling? forces that generate once the ionospheres of any two heavenly bodies touches each other. These causes severe electrostatic .....
it would take 20 ... By: obaeyens. on 14 May 09, 20:23:11 it would take 20 years to traverse our solar system, in al, these 20 years the outer planets should have moved but no orbital? change is beeing detected. So if tehre is something big coming, it will be not in the next 20 years..
Dark, blue, green red, invisible... it does not matter, gravity is gravity and even a black whole the size of a pea with the mass of a jupiter will have the same gravitational influence just like Jupiter would be. We would see this one coming rigth now by amateurs.
... gravitational ... By: obaeyens. on 14 May 09, 20:20:17 ... gravitational assist, and either would have been slowed down so it fell on arth or speeded up and either have left Earth or in a very eleptical orbit.
The Nibiru sounds nice on paper but once you actually calculate what should happen then it imemdiately gets debuked. Only a big fool would ignore this evidence and keep in believeing in a fantasy.
Right now at this moment, there is nothing big like? Nibiru coming and it was never here before. Nibiru would take 20 years to...
Just look at he the ... By: obaeyens. on 14 May 09, 20:13:08 Just look at he the orbits of our current solar system, they are all in almost a circular orbit and they are all in almost the same plane :-)
Just take an orbital simulator and put a big enough? planet that comes close enough to Earth to have any influence, and you immediately see that no orbit in our solar system stays that circular and in that plane.
If a planet just like Nibru would have passed then the Moon would have had a gravity assist because of the gravitation continue...
The whole idea that ... By: faukishah. on 14 May 09, 13:11:02 The whole idea that Nibiru never visited our solar system is? based upon an assumption that this solar system that we see is like that from thousands and thousands of years.. ? Is this correct ?
The whole idea that Nibiru is fake is based upon the presumption that moon always existed with earth from more than 7000 years. and if such planatory catastrophe happened the moon would have vanished due to it.
Have you any ... By: obaeyens. on 13 May 09, 21:25:34 Have you any scientific evidence fo that?
Or did you just hear this theory from someone else that heard it from somoene else that also heard it from somoene else that had telepatic contact with the Ananuki that told this??
Maybe I could sell you this expensive brick that will protect you from the bad inluence of the end od the world?
Anecdote: You ... By: faukishah. on 13 May 09, 15:29:14 Anecdote: You refute Nibiru because you think Moon was present from all times within 3600 years. Every heard of people who lived on earth before moon ?
Nibiru is coming and it is matter of 40 months now. It would take away our moon and moon would go into the? sun.
Last time it came we did not had a moon, we got it after the wobbles of venus and earth. Velokovisky.
the mayans never ... By: illeatyourfaceoff. on 06 Mar 09, 17:49:00 the mayans never said we'd be destroyed, their calendar is a circle? which tells me they saw time as a cycle based on astronomy. what they do say is that leading up to this time there will be massive social upheavel and revolution.
We'l have to wait and see :)
So where is the ... By: obaeyens. on 19 Nov 08, 22:01:04 So where is the evidence that it exist? All I hear is science.
Scientists do? not tell that this planet X exist at all! Anyone claming that scientists say this is lying or are misinformed.
Like this 3D as ... By: katesisco. on 03 Jul 10, 23:41:02 Like this 3D as necessary for me to understand orbital plane; its like everybody was out in the park tossing frisbees & they were all in the air at once & crossing each other's? path, & even intersecting. But they just go on as if they were made of air. This is what our solar system does & it does it a lot. We just haven't been around to notice.
Exactly, it's pure ... By: 950horsepower. on 27 Aug 08, 14:13:25 Exactly, it's pure speculation. Scientific Mumbo-Jumbo. Like Apophis. From the simulations, it appears to miss the earth by a narrow margin. But it is something? that we know exists, and can be tracked fairly accurately. The chances it will impact are pretty small, according to JPL. But we won't know for sure until it gets here. Your point is well taken.
Yes and this is te ... By: obaeyens. on 26 Aug 08, 20:54:04 Yes and this is te reason why it is very unlikely that a civilization? can predict the coming back of a planet on a date and time and place that happens to be some magic number ;-)
If such long ... By: 950horsepower. on 26 Aug 08, 20:24:13 If such long ellipses were more predictable, we could have better data on earth crossing asteroids etc, but we don't, we only have probabilities. Simulations and even hard physics have their place. But they also predicted that a rail dragster could never go? faster than 200 mph in a quarter mile, about a week after Garlits did it. Truth is stranger than math. Some truth is counter intuitive, even in physics.

Of course secret leaked information with scientific n-body simulation with the South Polde discovery using real gravity. LOL
