The stingers fire cleaner than most other .22 rounds. So I would say they're actually better for your gun. They just cost more. (but it's worth it).? when you go back to normal .22 you'll feel like your shooting a BB gun.

Then i bought those cci stingers, and did you read that warning on the back that says something like: "Use only in firearms having standard ANSI sporting barrel/chamber dimensions." is it safe to shoot it out of this gun? It could be doing some serious wear and tear on your gun here.
