You know, this movie was based off of one of Tim Burton's first movies. He made it when he first started working with Disney. It was live action and black-and-white. Disney didn't want to publish it, for some reason, but it was included with the 2-disk special edition of the Nightmare before Christmas. Oh my god, I'm a fucking Tim Burton nerd.?

I love how choppy and old-fashioned style that? Tim Burton chose to use for animation. It reminds me of Nightmare :')

I...Honestly don't think I'll like this. Just doesn't seem to? have as much charm as usual.

Disney? might have put it there because it is ONE of the most known movies of his right now, and plus Disney might want him to look a little less crazy by saying he was the one who directed "alice in wonderland" this is just what I think just what I think :D

Black? and white is where TV freaking started!
By: bunny33a. on 20 May 12, 08:04:10
It really isn't, this is a remake of a older Frankenweenie, plus Victor from Corpse Bride's dog is name something different, but? the names are close.

When I first saw it, I almost teared? up when he hugged the dog. I've always had a soft spot for dogs.

I think the point is that the dog isn't mindless or vicious. That was the point of Frankenstein. Frankenstein's monster was not? evil, merely misunderstood. And this is obviously based on that, only showing the more innocent love between a child and a dog. Looking forward to it.

This is stop-motion and very well done. It's hard to? tell because of how smooth it is and the black and white makes everything crisper.

Black & white helps the movie go on a? more spooky and serious approach.

thank you confirming, that's all i wanted to know. I asked the question after you responded to me the? first time.

Tim Burton presented the? idea in the early 80's when he worked as a concept artist for Disney. He used Disney's money to produce it, they fired him short after for spending their money on a film that was too "scary" for kids..btw you've never asked a question
By: Blazersenior06. on 15 May 12, 18:39:02
Again, how far back did he present this movie??? he was known as a director in the late 80's.? Either you dont kno what your talking about or your avoiding my question!
By: BigUncleKerch. on 15 May 12, 11:23:45
tim? has fucking lost the plot!!!!!
By: Inphrim. on 15 May 12, 09:05:27
"Beetle juice" also didn't exist when he presented this idea...again, Tim Burton was not a director when the idea was? presented to Disney..
By: OrangeJews1138. on 15 May 12, 08:39:02
Wow, that's pathetic. Tim Burton? needs to take a break.

Wait, I just realized "Frankenweenie", and "The Corpse Bride" tie in... Sparky, Victor and even the animation, Can't believe I didn't pick this up? from the original frankenweenie. Must have been the style of animation they used.
