I dropped my dad's iPad 2, though, because we didn't want to risk it on the 3. :P And you CANNOT apply pressure to these cases. They only react to fast impacts. If you crush it with a car, your iPad is sure to break. But if you run over quickly, the molecules will react. If you step on it, you will break it, but if you hit it with a hammer it will react.
